How does it fit?
The Mater Nappies seemed to fit my baby great. It was snug around the waist and no gaps in the legs. There weren’t any issues with the fit and it cleft everything covered and protected.
How long does it last?
It lasted very well as a day nappy, and exceptionally well as an overnight nappy. I was happy with the absorption and the nappy was soft on baby’s skin. I only had one leak issue overnight, when I didn’t change my baby straight away in the morning. The nappy was already totally full at that point. I experienced only tiny poo leaks from this nappy (which is typical for my baby) around the legs. Otherwise, I had no great issues from it.
Is it good during the day time and overnight?
This nappy performed great during the day time and was great at night, too. I found it super absorbent and it seemed to work fairly consistently all around.
What is the value like? Is it worth the cost?
Value is average. The nappy performed very well, but it may tend on the higher side of average. I love the cause the funds go towards and the whole look and feel of nappy are great. If you are looking for a nappy that makes a difference, this is definitely one to consider. With the discount code, it is very affordable, though!
Is it easy to put on and take off?
Easy, no complaints. The front panel material makes the tabs stick nicely.
Are they easy to dispose of?
Yes, tabs hold well and easily allow for disposal. Very simple to keep everything together to dispose.
Summary of the Mater Nappies
I loved the feel of this nappy and how it fit my child. This nappy does tend on the expensive side, but the fact that all proceeds go to help support Mater Little Miracles is a good incentive (and you can read about it here). It was easy to put on and remove, like any other nappy, and all of the bits and pieces were working well. It is easy to dispose using the tabs to hold the nappy closed. The simple design is cute, and I love the colours. Overall, I really liked this nappy and the performance was very reliable. I would recommend giving these ones a go if you want to support a good cause and get a reliable nappy as well.
